A bit about the Rowers Pub Reading Series:

We incorporated in May 2007 and feature both poets and fiction writers on the same night, to present a diverse line-up. We will tend to present established writers, but there will be a few spots for those who are just starting their career, but are writing at a very high level. We plan on presenting the best poets and fiction writers we can find, with an emphasis on Canadian writers, but will have some international writers as well.

We run the first Monday of the month, October - June. The doors open at 7:30, and we anticipate the first reader to begin reading at about 7:45. There will normally be two other featured readers, each of whom reads for 20 minutes, with 15 minute breaks in between. The evening should be over by 9:30 p.m., but people do hang around after. There is no open stage.
